Former President Donald Trump is “fine” after shots were fired at a rally in Butler, Pa., Saturday. The Secret Service shot and killed a suspected shooter, according to law enforcement officials.
A spokesman later said Trump is “fine and being checked out at a local medical facility.”
U.S. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said on X
that the Secret Service has “implemented protective measures and the former President is safe.”
The incident is now an active Secret Service investigation, Guglielmi said.
