She has just turned 52, she is too young to die, but she has breast cancer in the final stage and the end is not far away… The message with which the beloved actress tore hearts: “It’s something I don’t want … my 10-year-old child to bury his mother and then…”

Shannen Doherty continues to be an emblem of strength and bravery. Recently, the famous actress from Beverly Hills 90210 spoke about her ongoing fight against cancer and informed her supporters about her current situation. Regrettably, she also conveyed some heartbreaking news.

Doherty’s stage four breast cancer spread to her brain.

After overcoming cancer once, she received another diagnosis in February 2019. Since then, she has been sharing her experiences and discussing the difficulties of living with cancer.

Doherty shared a video on her Instagram on Tuesday, showing her getting treatment while tears welled up in her eyes. The video caption started with “January 12, 2023.”

The caption states that on January 5th, the CT scan revealed the presence of metastases in the brain. Yesterday’s video depicted the process of being fitted for the radiation mask specifically designed for the brain. On January 12, the initial session of radiation therapy was conducted.

Doherty, 52, expressed her evident fear due to her extreme claustrophobia and the overwhelming events happening in her life. She acknowledged her gratitude towards her excellent doctors, such as Dr. Amin (Mirhadi), and the incredible technicians at Cedar Sinai. However, she emphasized the impact of fear, turmoil, and the timing of it all, illustrating the appearance of cancer.

Yesterday, she shared a flashback video from January in which she was being fitted for a thermoplastic mask that covered her face and neck.

On January 16, 2023, the actress recorded another video where she mentioned having surgery to remove a tumor in her head and also to perform a biopsy.

Off-camera, she could be heard conversing with a woman, likely a nurse, who is assessing her limbs and informing her about the post-operative experience.

Doherty expressed her attempt to be courageous, yet she felt extremely frightened. The fear was overpowering, causing her to worry about various negative outcomes. She was concerned about the effect her absence would have on her mother and feared that she might not be the same person after the surgery.
